Located along the bustling arterial road of Jalan Maarof, Bangsaria is a seven-storey commercial building housing established banking institutions, showrooms, offices and galleries. Completed in October 2001, the building is owned by Leo Myer, a Kuala Lumpur-based property development and investment company. The tenants of the building includes, United Overseas Bank (UOB), Bric's Connoisseur Lifestyle, Technogym, Autism Behavioral Center (ABC), Chili's and Shinju Pearls.
The LED screen is attached to the Bangsaria building and located right before Petron, Jalan Maarof. The large and colourful display is able to attract the passerby who drive along Jalan Maarof, but also the drivers who go to refill gas in Petron. It's large screen can catch the attention of the passerby, as well as the residents who live nearby. When people are waiting for the traffic light, they will definitely be distracted by the huge screen board and be aware of the displayed content.
In addition, the LED screen has a high visibility and can be operated in any weather, be it under hot sun or heavy rain, due to the bright and vivid display feature. This is beneficial to the firms as it is effective in term of both cost-saving and marketing. This marketing strategy helps firms to save cost by cutting down the printing cost, which is practiced by some of the traditional firms. Moreover, the LED screen is highly resistant to damage, hence the firms does not need to invest a huge cost in maintenance.

The tourism sector came under some pressure in 2014 when the national carrier Malaysia Airlines had one of its planes disappear in March, while another was brought down by a missile over Ukraine in July, resulting in the loss of a total 537 passengers and crew. The state of the airline, which had been unprofitable for 3 years, prompted the government in August 2014 to nationalise the airline by buying up the 30 per cent it did not already own. Between 2013 and 2014, Malaysia has been listed as one of the best places to retire to in the world, with the country in third position on the Global Retirement Index. This in part was the result of the Malaysia My Second Home programme to allow foreigners to live in the country on a long-stay visa for up to 10 years. In 2016, Malaysia ranked the fifth position on The World's Best Retirement Havens while getting in the first place as the best place in Asia to retire. Warm climate with British colonial background made foreigners easy to interact with the locals.
