The local Malay struggle historical events being remembered through the Pasir Salak Historical Complex. Ethnic Chinese also left several historical landmarks mainly in the capital city of Ipoh including the building of Darul Ridzuan Museum, which is a former wealthy Chinese tin miner mansion, the Han Chin Pet Soo which is a former shadowy activities building for Hakka miners, and the Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan.
