BUSINESS AND SIGNBOARD LICENSE APPLICATIONS
Signboard license application must be accompanied by the following documents:
a) A copy of the company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association (M&A) and Forms 9, 24 and 49
b) A copy of either the rental agreement or the sales and purchase agreement of the company’s business premise
c) A copy of location plan of the company’s business premise
d) Photos showing the location of the company’s signboard
e) Samples of the signboard indicating its design and colours
License Requirements:
1. The license fee is paid within 14 days from the date of approval.
2. The License reference number is displayed.
3. License reference number displayed clearly on the bottom left of the signage.
4. Registered company name on the bottom right signs.
5. Install is done on approved location and visual.
6. Any change in the company name, size of the ad, the visual, the address of the premises during the period of approval shall be referred to and approved by the Licensing Department
7. Signboard installation is subject to the provisions of the By-Laws Ads (W. Persekutuan) Order 1982 and its amendments.

Application for registration must be submitted in the prescribed Registration Form together with following:
i. 2 copies of recent photographs
ii. A copy of Identity Card / Passport
iii. Certified true copies of certificates / diplomas / degrees
iv. Testimonials from present and past employees
v. Registration fee in favour of ‘Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia’
All documents submitted must be certified as true copies by a Professional Architect registered with the Board.

Moreover, we would assist our clients to get signage established mainly signboard artwork approval from Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP). Advertise on display must be in Bahasa Malaysia either by itself or together with other language.
